Hi,
I am trying to upgraded to HIDPoint 1.0, however the installation wont go past the status:

Copying Files

/opt/hidpoint/support/85-yshid.rules

The first time I received the following error messages in the terminal:
Gathering System information and generating a log
Launching HIDPoint Installer
/usr/lib/gio/modules/libgioremote-volume-monitor.so: wrong ELF-class: ELFCLASS64
(wrong & class is transated from Dutch)
Failed to load module: /usr/lib/gio/modules/libgioremote-volume-monitor.so
/usr/lib/gio/modules/libgiogconf.so: wrong ELF-class: ELFCLASS64
Failed to load module: /usr/lib/gio/modules/libgiogconf.so
/usr/lib/gio/modules/libgvfsdbus.so: wrong ELF-class: ELFCLASS64
Failed to load module: /usr/lib/gio/modules/libgvfsdbus.so

after re-downloading the HIDPoint 1.0 file and reinstallling it, it hangs on the same point but no error messages in the terminal this time.

I have googled a bit and it looks like there is a conflict between 32 bits and 64 bits library. I know you can force installation by "sudo dpkg -i --force-architecture nameofpackage.deb" but thats only on deb files.

Any support is highly appreciated :-D

PS I shouldnt have done the upgrade, it was working

Hello,

In the terminal, execute the following command

$ sudo rm /usr/bin/hidpoint
$ sudo rm /etc/udev/rules.d/85-yshid.rules

Then, Try reinstalling.

also the command: cat /proc/bus/usb/devices gives nothing (no such file of folder) and
lsusb gives:
