Hi, can somebody tell me, why hidpoint appears in my startup list in gnome session manager even if i deleted it from this list? Yes i want to execute it when session starts, but i want to do it my way, because when its executed much soon the icon doesn't appear in system tray but somewhere else. Thank you for answer.

Try this

cd $HOME

sudo ls /etc/xdg/autostart/hidpoint.desktop

sudo mv /etc/xdg/autostart/hidpoint.desktop .

(just in case u change ur mind or need it for reference. Else remove it)

Hope this helps

I have same problem and i do not think i can make sense out of your replay. Being linux noob , i would appreciate it much if you could tell me how to fix random placement of HIDPOINT icon and to set it in system tray.

We are working on fixing the issue with the traybar icon. For now you can try the following command in the terminal to restart hidpoint and to see the system tray icon.

Try this command on the terminal
hidpoint -r

If you want to see the "HIDPoint configuration window" after the restart then try this command

hidpoint -r -s

If there are any further queries then do please let us know
