HIDPoint

I have installed the latest version of HIDpoint on Ubuntu 8.10
It installed fine, detected my keyboard and mouse, allowed me to configure them, but after I reboot it do not start automatically, more than that when I try to start it manually from the menu it also do not start. Please advice!

I'm having a similar issue. I've installed and been using it on Ubuntu 9.04 Desktop for a couple of months. It normally starts and works ok, however occasionally does not - and in those instances I cannot even start it manually.

Running hidpoint in a terminal doesn't provide any output, and 'ps -A' shows that it has not been started successfully. Doesn't run successfully as the root user either.

Some logs or terminal output would be great to help diagnosis! Find it a great tool when it's working, so more than willing to provide quality/detailed info to help improve it.

There is a new version of HIDPoint which supports the newer kernel versions along with a number of bug fixes. Please download the latest version from here and let us know if you run into any issues.
