I can't install hidpoint, because the installer stops after uncompressing the files.
Some help would be appreciated

Hi, I am running into the same problem.
I could not install even as root.

I will wait for a fix I guess.

it stop with error message: unsupported kernel version

Just another vote hoping that support for 2.6.24.19 on Ubuntu can be added. I was very pleased to find this software and so the fact that it just silently fails to install on .19 is downer. Thanks for making the software available, it look sliek it will be very good once I can install it.

first off, very nice project =)

I think the reason you can't install it is that the driver/program doesn't support SMP kernels yet, as is my problem too. (you know, uname -a)

Hope that will be included soon =)
